We plan to complete the elevation work by moving the construction work zone six different times. ![]() Raising the site elevation is complicated logistically because the site must stay in operation during the construction. This piping will connect with the stormwater piping that was installed as part of the marine contract. Lawrence Lynch will be raising the base elevation approximately 5 feet to satisfy the flood plain requirements, and they will be installing new stormwater piping for the back side of the property. The electricians will set up a temporary switchgear building in the employee lot so power can be moved from the freight shed. ![]() The scope of work for this phase focus on preparing the site for the building construction. They will then focus on relocating water and sewer lines that are currently in the footprint of the permanent terminal. ![]() Initially they will be moving and repowering the trash compactor and the waste oil shed. and Cullen Electric are scheduled to mobilize on-site on Monday, September 19, 2022. Phase 5 landside work begins - Week of September 19, 2022 Cullen will power to the waste oil container and run a power line to the new trash compactor location. They will also move the trash compactor out of the planned work area. They will move the waste oil container to the back of the property, and they will dig a trench for power to the container. They are also wiring the office trailers for communication. THIS WEEK, Cullen Electric was on site Wednesday verifying the existing conduit routes with the as-built drawings from the marine contract. NEXT WEEK , Lawrence Lynch will start the retaining wall work on the south property line. They also moved the container to its new location. dug the trench for the conduit to the waste oil container. They also laid the conduit for the power to the new waste oil container. THIS WEEK, Cullen Electric finished wiring the office trailers. Cullen Electric will modify the electrical and communication lines to the check-in booth at the back of the staging area. They will also be demolishing the old underground sewer pump-out chambers at the foot of Cowdry Road. NEXT WEEK, Lawrence-Lynch will set the forms and rebar for the footing of the retaining wall on the south side.
